“A Bespokle table is not just a beautiful piece of furniture... it's a meaningful visual reminder
that we are all here to celebrate ourselves and honor our legacy, authenticity and individual spirit.“
- Kimberly Levin, Chief Passion Officer
Hello, and Welcome to Bespokle! We offer a collection of tables handmade in Connecticut from extraordinary things and for extraordinary people! Bespokle was born from the idea of creating a product that encourages families and businesses to celebrate themselves. In an era where we’re glued to our phones on social media, comparing ourselves to other people or other businesses and perhaps feeling not enough in the process, we wanted to shed the external comparisons and honor the internal gifts that we all have. Recognizing what makes you special and to celebrate it.
Historically, a Coat of Arms was created as a visual narrative with each element bearing a significance to honor the family. At Bespokle, we’ve embraced this tradition in our designs. With a rich array of options, Bespokle lets you craft a personalized monogram table that tells the unique story of your family’s cherished legacy.
It all begins with our magnificent live wood. Connecticut is considered a heavily forested state with 60% of its landmass covered by lush trees aged to perfection. These trees are heralded for their distinctive characteristics, which give our tabletops their authentic markings. Our tabletops are crafted from maple, black walnut, or white oak.
Our Maple is sustainably sourced from trees that have naturally fallen or been responsibly taken down. Maple trees, particularly sugar maples abundant in New England, exhibit a range of hues from white and light blond to a reddish pink. Whether adorned with rare burls, which produce mesmerizing spiral patterns, showcasing striking bluish-grey streaks from former Ambrosia beetle dwellings, or featuring tap holes from syrup extraction, our live-edge maple wood tabletops narrate stories of resilience, adaptation, and renewal. Each one is unique, celebrating its authentic, rare, and inherent beauty.
American black walnut is a gorgeous wood with light to dark brown shades. It is typically straight grain with occasionally some figured characteristics. The live edge is usually a light blonde contrasting with the darker heartwood. Sometimes with special pieces of walnut a light brick red color or even a light purple can be seen interlaced with the rich chocolate browns.
White Oak is a blonde wood that has deep rich grain texture and can often show blonde "tiger stripes” throughout the tree.
Each slab undergoes kiln drying before being carefully finished with a commercial-grade, UV-protected, scratch-resistant coating. This maintenance-free finish enhances and preserves the inherent characteristics of each tabletop, ensuring a smooth, tactile surface.
Each table base is a true work of art, embodying American-made hardwood craftsmanship and woodworking integrity. Crafted from thick, solid maple, the legs feature a recessed inlay striping in an optional contrasting wood or paint color, adding a striking visual dimension. The clean lines of our monogrammed bases are precision-fabricated using state-of-the-art Austrian machinery. These designs are meticulously executed with a high-precision 5-axis router, allowing for intricate detailing, including letters and corporate logos on branded tables. Every table is thoughtfully designed with allowances for seasonal movement.
Optionally, vibrant and translucent epoxy rivers can unify and accentuate the natural live edges of our beautiful slabs. Epoxy resin is a very hard composite perfectly suited for this type of joinery. Our makers have skillfully refined this process seamlessly integrating the artistic handmade approach with modern digitally controlled machinery.
